The M75 APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) is a lightly armored vehicle designed for transport of troops and support personnel in combat or other dangerous situations. It was developed in the early 1970s as a replacement for the M59 and M75 series vehicles.
The M75 APC is powered by a Detroit Diesel 6V53T engine and has a top speed of 63 km/h (39 mph). It has a crew of two and can carry up to 8 passengers. The vehicle is equipped with a 12.7mm M2HB heavy machine gun mounted on the roof.
The M75 APC has been used by various military forces including the US Army, Israeli Defense Forces, and the Chilean Army. It saw action in the Lebanese Civil War and the Gulf War.
However, due to its lightly armored design, the M75 APC has been phased out of service in most modern militaries and replaced with more heavily armored and advanced vehicles.
